hi, I'm jennifer
I’m Jennifer Fader, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Expressive Arts Therapist.
At Integrative Therapy Studio, I wanted to create a space where healing goes beyond words—where therapy is something you experience, not just talk about. My work is grounded in neuroscience, body-based practices, and creative expression, helping people reconnect with themselves in a deeper way. I founded this practice to offer an approach that is collaborative, experiential, and truly integrative—because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.
If you're curious about working together, I invite you to learn more about my background and approach to therapy.
Why Studio?
A studio is a space for exploration, experimentation, and transformation. Therapy here isn’t about following a formula—it’s about discovering what works for you. Some sessions might feel reflective and insight-driven, while others might be hands-on, using expressive arts or movement to access deeper emotions.

This approach might work for you if:
-
You’ve tried traditional therapy but still feel stuck.
-
You process emotions best through experience, not just talking.
-
You want a therapy space that welcomes creativity, self-discovery, and deep inner work.

At Integrative Therapy Studio there's no rigid formula - just a process we create together

What to Expect
Trying a different type of therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you're used to more traditional talk therapy. It’s normal to wonder what to expect or if it will feel right for you. Integrative therapy means each session is tailored to you, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive. There’s no pressure to dive into anything before you’re ready—therapy is a collaborative process shaped by what feels most important to you that day.
Here's a general sense of how a session might unfold:
01. Checking-In & Setting the Session Focus
We start with a check-in to see what’s present for you. This might be a specific challenge, a recurring pattern, or simply whatever is on your mind. Together, we decide where to focus, letting the session unfold in a way that feels right for you.
02. Engaging in Exploration
Once we’ve identified what feels most important to you that day, we explore what best supports you in the moment. This might mean grounding and orienting to the present, engaging in sensory attunement or art-making, or simply allowing the conversation to unfold naturally
03. Notice & Respond
Throughout the session, we notice images, sensations, emotions, and thoughts as they arise. Instead of following a set agenda, we stay responsive to what organically unfolds in the present moment.
04. Reflection & Integration
We close each session by helping you integrate what emerged and re-orient to the present moment, so you feel steady and supported as you return to your day.
If traditional talk therapy has given you insight but not lasting change, you’re not alone.

At Integrative Therapy Studio, therapy goes beyond just talking. While insight is valuable, real, lasting change happens when both the mind and body are engaged in the healing process. That’s why we combine traditional psychotherapy with experiential approaches, helping you move from awareness to meaningful transformation.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, integrative therapy blends different therapeutic methods to meet your unique needs. Each session is tailored to what works best for you—whether through conversation, creative expression, or body-based awareness. Therapy here isn’t just about symptom relief; it’s about expanding your capacity for joy, resilience, and a deeper connection to yourself.
True change happens through experience. Experiential therapy engages both the mind and body to shift deep-rooted patterns at the source. By working beyond words, you can move past cycles of overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or self-doubt—so healing isn’t just something you talk about, but something you truly feel.
