Virtual Therapy for Adults, Children & Families Across Ontario

A woman with bright red hair smiles warmly at the camera, wearing a black leather jacket and white top. The natural outdoor lighting and blurred urban background create a friendly and approachable atmosphere. Ideal for an online psychotherapy practice in Ontario and Toronto, the image reflects a supportive and authentic space for adults seeking therapy for self-discovery, trauma, and expressive arts therapy.

Meet Jennifer

I’ve always been intense—drawn to life’s biggest questions, fascinated by human nature, and searching for meaning in the unknown. If you’re someone who thinks deeply, feels intensely, or has always struggled to fit into conventional boxes, I get it. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about creating space for you to finally hear yourself, trust yourself, and understand yourself in a way that feels real.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I lived across Canada, working with people from all walks of life. I’ve been an actor, singer, personal trainer, and therapeutic recreation specialist, working in community, residential, and hospital settings with people at every stage of life—from children to those at the end of life. These experiences shaped how I see people: not as problems to be solved, but as complex, creative, deeply feeling individuals navigating a world that doesn’t always make space for them.

Jennifer Fader, Founder & RP (Qualifying)

Now, as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Expressive Arts Therapist, I bring this same curiosity, depth, and adaptability into my clinical work. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and neuroaffirming, meaning I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Some of my clients need more structure; others need unstructured space to process. Some talk through everything; others work through creative expression, movement, or imagery. I tailor therapy to who you are, how you process, and what feels most natural to you. My background in the arts, body-based practices, and meaning-making allows me to approach therapy with both structure and flexibility—bridging science with self-discovery.

I now live in downtown Toronto with my young son and comedian husband. Outside of therapy, I’m still an actor, and when I’m not making mixed media art, I’m probably binge-watching horror movies or trashy reality tv. Creativity isn’t just a side passion for me—it’s a way of processing, a way of understanding the world, and a tool I bring into therapy for those who find words alone aren’t enough.

I offer virtual therapy across Ontario for people who crave more than surface-level solutions. If you’ve ever felt like therapy didn’t quite ‘get you’ or you’re looking for a space where you don’t have to filter yourself, I invite you to reach out. However you choose to show up, we’ll meet you where you are—no pressure, no expectations, just a space to be fully yourself.

Creativity isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.
